YoDitto Privacy Policy

YoDitto Games LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the YoDitto mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address as provided by those services. If you sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email.

b. Profile Information

You may optionally upload a profile photo or select an avatar. Uploaded photos are stored securely and associated with your account.

c. Game Data

Your answers to daily questions, scores, leaderboard rankings, comments, and gameplay statistics.

d. Device Information

Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens (if you enable notifications).

e. Usage Data

We collect analytics data about how you interact with the app, including screens viewed, features used, and crash reports to help us improve the experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the game experience
• To display leaderboards, scores, and player statistics
• To process and group answers using automated systems, including AI-assisted clustering, to calculate scores
• To send push notifications about daily rounds and results (if enabled)
• To display advertisements within the app
• To monitor app performance and fix bugs via crash reporting
• To improve the app based on usage patterns

3. Advertising

YoDitto displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:

• Device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID)
• General location data
• App usage data

On iOS, you will be asked via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt whether you consent to tracking for personalized advertising. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your activity across other apps and websites.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data may be shared with:

• Other players: Your display name, avatar, scores, and comments are visible to other players on leaderboards and in-game.
• Service providers: Third-party services that help us operate the app (see Section 5).
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Third-Party Services

YoDitto uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, cloud functions, analytics, crash reporting (Crashlytics), and remote configuration
• Google AdMob: In-app advertising
• Expo: Push notifications and app updates
• Anthropic: AI-powered answer processing for game scoring (your answers are processed to group similar responses; no personal identifiers are sent)
• Apple / Google: Authentication via Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In

6. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the app's Settings screen. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through the app
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of push notifications via device settings
• Control ad tracking via iOS App Tracking Transparency settings
• Update your display name and profile photo at any time

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected; request deletion of your personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. 9. Children's Privacy

YoDitto is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
